For more than 35 years, Jim Lambert has served the residents of Lafayette, Louisiana and the Acadiana area as personal injury attorney and board certified trial lawyer. He is known for giving close, personal and professional attention to his clients seeking a just and fair outcome.

In over three decades in Louisiana courtrooms, he has always put my clients first. This is the essence and core of his professional philosophy: Put the client first and everything else will take care of itself. As a Louisiana personal injury lawyer, I believe in a close, personal, and highly professional relationship between one client and one lawyer.

For several years now, he has been practicing in my own firm. At the Jim Lambert Law Firm, each and every client will meet me, have personal contact with Jim, and will be represented by him in any court or other proceeding. The slogan he likes to use in some of his public advertising arises from this professional sense of mission: “When I take your case, I take it personally.”

In his personal life, he has been married since 1978 to Barbara McCoy Lambert, and we are the proud parents of two adult children – Travis and Caroline. They are regular members of and very active at St. Barnabas Episcopal Church in Lafayette, Louisiana. He has also been involved in a local interdenominational group known as Bridge Ministry of Acadiana. This is a group that uses Christian principles to help revitalize one of the most poverty-stricken neighborhoods in Lafayette. Since 2001, he has also been very actively involved in the Kairos Prison Ministry at Angola State Prison.
